FARGO (KFGO) – Early-morning commuters and overnight drivers in Fargo should prepare for brief ramp closures on Interstates 29 and 94 early Friday.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation will perform lane repair projects starting at 2:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, to create a smoother and safer road surface.
Work will begin on the Interstate 29 northbound Exit 63A ramp before crews move to repair the Interstate 94 westbound Exit 349B ramp. Each ramp closure is expected to last between 20 and 60 minutes, with lanes reopening as soon as repairs are complete.
After completing the ramp maintenance, crews will patch potholes on state-maintained roads throughout the Fargo metropolitan area until approximately 5:30 a.m.
Motorists are urged to plan alternate routes and exercise extra caution in work zones. Real-time road conditions and construction updates are available by calling 511 or visiting travel.dot.nd.gov.
