JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KFGO) – Jamestown Police say a man was arrested for terrorizing yesterday after officers were called to a report of a man waving a gun around a grocery store.
Police say just before 5 p.m. Tuesday, they received a call claiming that Danyel Lund, 59, of Jamestown was waving the gun around and asking to speak with a manager.
While officers were responding, they received reports that Lund had gone over to a nearby liquor store. Police say when they arrived, they found Lund had been disarmed by an employee and was intoxicated. After investigating, police determined the gun was a BB gun.
Lund was arrested and taken to the Stutsman County Correctional Center. Police say they are still investigating and additional charges could be filed.
