City Commission to take up Fargo Cass Public Health’s appointment of former mayor Mahoney as health officer

FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – Fargo Cass Public Health has asked the City Commission to appoint former mayor Dr. Tim Mahoney as a health officer.

The request is on the commission’s consent agenda for tonight’s meeting.

Mahoney is a surgeon working for family healthcare in fargo.

He won a special election after mayor Dennis Walaker died in office in 2015 and served until last month.
