FARGO (KFGO) – Structural concerns at the Ground Transportation Center in Downtown Fargo are forcing MATBUS to relocate its downtown hub on Monday, August 17th.
The new hub will be located in the former downtown engagement center building at 222 4th St North.
While the computer systems are moved, fixed route rides will be free for riders on Saturday. Customer service will still be provided that day at the old location.
Buses will line up in designated sections on 4th St N and 3rd Ave N, and signage will direct riders to their route’s area.
This is the same intersection that was used as a temporary hub in 2020 while the ground transportation center was under construction. There will be no changes to route times.
The new location will be used as the MATBUS downtown hub until further notice, MATBUS is still searching for a new permanent location.
