So I caught this story:
$600.00-$4500.00…The cost to hire a “potty-training consultant,” which is an actual job title thanks to some wealthy professionals who’d prefer to leave the poopy part of parenting to someone else — and apparently a lot of the other parts as well. These busy “CEO parents,” The Wall Street Journal found, are no longer employing just one nanny but entire teams to handle all the tedium of childrearing, from teaching their kids how to ride a bike ($80-$450 per session) to packing their bags for summer camp (~$125). This way, the time they do block off for their kids, Skims co-founder Emma Grede told WSJ, can be spent making “high-impact, core memories,” which is the weirdly corporate way their children will one day refer to childhood nostalgia.
What do you think? If you had the money, would you?
