FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (KFGO-KBRF) – Lake Region Healthcare (LRH) has been named to Forbes’ inaugural Top Hospitals by State list, earning recognition as one of Minnesota’s highest-performing hospitals based on a comprehensive evaluation of healthcare quality and patient outcomes. The list, released by Forbes in July 2026, highlights top hospitals in each state using data-driven measures of performance.
The Forbes Top Hospitals by State list is derived from the organization’s national hospital ratings and recognizes hospitals that demonstrate excellence across key categories, including patient outcomes, hospital best practices, value, and patient experience. Forbes evaluated hospitals using quality measures from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Provider Data Catalog and identified approximately the top 30% of eligible hospitals in each state.
