Luke McLane, 33
COLD SPRING, Minn. (Minnesota News Network) – A Stearns County judge has ordered a mental evaluation for a man charged with second degree murder in the fatal stabbing of a Catholic group home employee in Cold Spring, Minnesota last month.
The court found there is reason to question Luke McLane’s, 33 competency to stand trial.
The case is on hold pending the evaluation, with a review hearing set for August 3rd. Prosecutors allege McLane fatally stabbed the employee at the group home last Saturday.
