DULUTH, Minn. (KFGO) – A Duluth man is facing federal charges after he allegedly manufactured illegal firearm conversion devices using a 3d printer.
Court documents say 34-year-old Jordan Otis was found in possession of four “Glock switches” during a recent investigation. Prosecutors allege Otis admitted to making the devices and distributing them.
The attachments can convert a semiautomatic handgun into a fully automatic weapon. Under federal law, the conversion devices are classified as machine guns.
