(KFAN/KFGO) – Looking to end their four game losing streak, the RedHawks would send Kyle Crigger to the mound against the Milwaukee Milkmen Saturday evening. The score would remain 0-0 until the bottom of the 2nd inning when Milwaukee’s Andy Blake would take Crigger deep for a 2 run homerun making it 2-0 Milkmen.
The Milkmen would add to their lead in the 5th inning when Griffin Doersching hit a RBI single to make it 3-0.
In the 8th inning, Andy Blake who had homered earlier would get two more RBI’s on a single to make it 5-0 Milkmen. RedHawks pitcher Cam Cunnings would walk Delvin Perez of the Milkmen with the bases loaded to make it 6-0. Cam Cunnings would strike out the side in the 8th inning.
Christian Young (2-1) would get the Win. Kyle Crigger (1-3) would get the Loss despite a quality start of 7 innings, 3 Runs, 5 Strikeouts and 1 Walk.
