I love when I walk into a library or a bookstore, how the comforting scent of the pages hits me. It’s friendly, it’s welcoming & I find that a calm just comes over me. And I sigh, knowing I will find a story that I can bury my head into.
Recently, I stopped into a new quaint little bookstore in downtown Fargo with the perfect name: “Overbooked”.
A lifelong dream of a local English teacher, Michelle Forness, who loves books & loves to read. Her little store is the perfect place to relax as you peruse the shelves of books of all your favorite authors. And if yours isn’t there, ask her, she’ll get it.
And for me, books are not just products, but handpicked treasures waiting to be found. Fellow book lovers know this: Loving a small bookstore means loving the magic of getting lost in order to find exactly what your soul needed to read.
Listen in now & hear Michelle paint the magic that is “Overbooked”
