NSF AgTech Engine in North Dakota
FARGO, N.D. — The NSF AgTech Engine in North Dakota is pleased to announce a new Request for Proposals (RFP) supporting innovative agricultural technology projects that deliver real, on-the-ground value for producers and agricultural operations.
The Producer-Engaged Agricultural Technology Project funding is designed to close critical funding gaps for producer and end-user focused agricultural technology initiatives that address practical agricultural challenges through deployable technology solutions. Projects that improve efficiency, resilience, and profitability in agriculture, with a strong emphasis on real-world deployment and adoption in working operations will be prioritized.
Agriculture producers, startups, innovators, and researchers are encouraged to apply.
Projects are sought in the following focus areas:
- Water and Resource Resilience
- Intelligent Operations and Logistics
- Breeding, Genetics, and Predictive Biology
- Regenerative Systems and Crop Protection
- Quality, Nutrition, and Value-Added Markets
Funding of up to $100,000 per project is available, with multiple awards anticipated.
A webinar with additional information about the funding opportunity and application process will be held on June 11, at 10 AM CST. The application deadline is July 19, 2026.
