A leisurely paced group paddle with local experts sharing their Red River knowledge. All skill levels welcome!
SCHEDULE Backup dates will be the following week.
Arrive by 5:30 pm – Check in, get equipment. 6 pm – basics of paddling, begin excursion.
REGISTRATION Pre-registration required at moorheadparks.com or 218.299.5340. Closes at 20 vessels/excursion. $10/person if providing vessel, $15/person if renting vessel. Rentals are first-come, first-served.

Experience the Red River in downtown without transporting your own vessel.
LOCATION The Rental Shack at Hjemkomst Landing in the Hjemkomst Center parking lot, 202 1st Ave N, Moorhead. Vessel rental is for use at Hjemkomst Landing only.
HOURS OF OPERATION May 26 – September 5 (closed July 4) Tuesdays and Thursdays 4 – 8 pm Saturdays 11 am – 6 pm Sundays noon – 6 pm
COST $10/hour/vessel, prorated after the first hour.
INDIVIDUAL RENTALS Single and tandem kayaks and canoes are available on a first-come first-served basis. Rentals include paddles and life jackets.
GROUP RENTALS Available outside of regular rental hours for a $100 minimum rental fee, dependent on staff availability. Reservations must be made at least 14 days in advance by calling 218.299.5078.
