WASHINGTON (KFGO/KVRR) — U.S. District Judge Daniel Traynor has been nominated to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Sens. John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer are recommending Traynor for the position. Both have been working with the White House to advance a qualified nominee to fill a vacancy after Judge Ralph Erickson assumed senior status.
Traynor serves in the North Dakota U.S. District Court and is chambered in Bismarck. He’s held the position since 2020.
Traynor graduated with distinction from UND School of Law in 1997.
