Organ donation is one of the greatest gifts an individual can give to another.
Recently, Amy and I had the chance to speak with a mother and daughter who participated in a “Paired Organ Donation” – which means that because the daughter wasn’t an exact match for her mother, they paired her with another set of donors/recipients who were a match. A swap, essentially.
Their inspiring story is about family. Their story is about individuals they may never meet but have a profound effect on their lives. Their story is about new futures.
Eliana and Julie tell their story. If you feel inclined to help someone – even a stranger that you have never met, The National Kidney Foundation has some amazing information and resources.

And! Amy and I also spoke with our co-worker Kyle about his time on the Kidney Donation list. You can hear all about someone who needs an organ and has been waiting. His story is like so many out there…waiting…
