Janice Gloria, 44, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in her home.
Janice Day was born on January 8, 1982, in Temple, TX, to Eli and Janie (Cisneros) Day. Janice was raised and went to school in Troy, TX, graduating in 2000. She worked in the accounting office at Walmart for over twenty years. On September 24, 2011, Janice was united in marriage to Ruben Gloria, in Buckles, TX. Together they made their home in Moorhead where they had their two kids, Miranda Marie Gloria and Ruben Gloria Jr.
Janice had a love for reading. She enjoyed activities like word puzzles and painting rocks. She also loved baking and watching cooking shows. Her kids especially enjoyed her pistachio salad. Her favorite music was country music, and she was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She also was a big fan of going to the zoo and traveling when she was able to.
Janice is survived by her husband of 17 years, Ruben Gloria; her two children, Miranda Marie Gloria and Ruben Gloria Jr; sisters, Lisa (Lino Ocon) Day and Sandra Day; brothers, Eli (Melinda) Day Jr. and Steve Day; nephews, Austin Day, Eli Day III, and Eric Day Jr; and niece, Ariel Day.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elie and Janie; sister, Susan Day; and brother Eric Day.
Janice’s Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 11 AM in Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service, Moorhead, MN. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead. Janice’s funeral will be livestreamed and can be viewed right here on her obituary page.
