FARGO (KFGO) – A 19-year-old Fargo man is charged with two counts of criminal vehicular homicide for an October crash that killed two people in north Fargo.
On Oct. 26 of last year, Fargo Police officers and Highway Patrol troopers responded to the 1200 block of 10th Street N. for a serious injury crash.
Court documents say Holden Lee was driving a vehicle on 10th street when he lost control. The vehicle hit a light pole and spun into a tree.
Lee suffered spinal injuries and broken bones. His two passengers suffered life-threatening injuries.
One of the passengers, 23-year-old Juma Uredi died that day. The other passenger, 31-year-old Arlentin Arcoren died two days later.
A trooper says Lee’s phone was recording on snapchat from Lee’s perspective prior to the crash. Video shows the vehicle going over 90 miles an hour and crossing both lanes before hitting the tree.
Lee told a trooper he had too much to drink and was a 10 out of 10 for the most drunk he’s ever been. He also said he had his last drink a half hour before the crash and there were empty alcohol shooter bottles in the vehicle.
A witness says Lee told them, “I’m sorry,” and, “please let me run.”
A blood test showed Lee had a blood-alcohol level of .112 three hours after the crash.
