WEST FARGO (KFGO) – Former West Fargo City Commissioner Eric Gjerdevig was the only candidate for mayor who filed ahead of Monday afternoon’s deadline. He served on the commission from 2018 until 2022.
Mayor Bernie Dardis decided not to seek a second, four-year term earlier this year.
Tyler Erickson, John Severson, Patti Stedman and David Withee are candidates for two open city commission seats on June 9. The terms of City Commissioners Brad Olson and Roben Anderson are ending.
Chris Heise, Jake Lauritsen, Thomas Paskvan and Robert Rasmussen are the four candidates for West Fargo Park Board.
