Steve Charging Eagle (Burleigh Morton Detention Center)
BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – One man is dead and another is in jail after a stabbing in Bismarck Thursday night.
Bismarck Police say officers responded to a report of an injured man at a park around 7:40 a.m.
The man, Steve Charging Eagle, had injuries to his hands and told officers he stabbed another man in self defense. The officers identified a home where the stabbing may have taken place.
There, they found 35-year-old Brooks Reynolds with multiple stab wounds.
Charging Eagle was arrested and booked into the Burleigh Morton Detention Center. He is facing a murder charge.
Police say Charging Eagle and Reynolds knew each other.
