Elliott Engen (R-Lino Lakes)
WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. (KFGO) – The youngest member of the legislature was arrested early Friday morning for suspected DWI in White Bear Lake.
27-year-old State Representative Elliott Engen, a Republican from Lino Lakes, was arrested after a traffic stop for speeding and equipment violations. Engen is also a candidate for state auditor.
Police say Engen had a 0.13 blood alcohol level at the time of his arrest. He was later released from the Ramsey County Jail.
