Todd Selk
CROOKSTON, Minn. (KFGO-KVRR) — A man who started his education career in Crookston is returning to the district to serve as the interim superintendent.
Todd Selk originally applied for the job, but withdrew saying he wanted to remain the superintendent in Fosston.
After the Crookston superintendent search was suspended, the school board reached out to Selk and made him an offer.
Selk will lead the school district for the next school year. He starts on July 1.
The former teacher, coach and activities director began his career in Crookston in 1984 and has since worked in Brainerd, Spokane, Grand Forks and Fosston, where he has been superintendent since 2022.
He says Crookston will be where he ends his education career.
