NEW YORK MILLS, Minn. (KFGO – The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office and a state fire investigator are working to determine the cause of a house fire in rural New York Mills.
The call came in at 5:15 a.m. Saturday. The house is on County Highway 56.
Two residents of the home and several pets were able to get out safely. The house has heavy damage and may be a total loss. There are no indications that the fire was suspicious.
The New York Mills and Perham Fire departments responded.
