Concordia Women’s basketball squad advance to Elite 8 in DIII Women’s Basketball Tournament

(KNFL/KFGO) – The Concordia Cobbers kept their season alive with a 64-59 victory over John Hopkins in the Sweet 16 of the DIII Women’s basketball Tournament. They will advance to the Elite 8, where they will play at 6 PM in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where they’ll play the winner of the Sweet 16 matchup featuring Scranton and Bates. Alexa Snesrud led the Cobber women with 13 points in the win.
