ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating a deadly shooting Wednesday night by a Rochester police officer.
Police say officers responded to a domestic-related call at an apartment building where a man was experiencing a mental health crisis. During the struggle, police say the man grabbed an officer’s gun and was shot by another officer.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene, but he died at St. Mary’s Hospital.
