FARGO (KFGO) — Fargo firefighters were able to quickly knock down a storage unit fire late Tuesday afternoon.
Red River Regional Dispatch got the call to 1001 23rd St S just before 4:45 p.m. The caller reported a camper in one of the units caught fire. The fire spread to other units, and at least two propane tanks were heard exploding. Thick, black smoke and flames were visible when crews arrived.
The fire was under control within about 10 minutes of firefighters arriving on scene.
Fargo Fire responded with seven trucks, including a ladder truck, and one command vehicle. Sanford Ambulance and Fargo Police assisted on scene.
