Skyler Kidwell (Cass County Jail)
FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man was booked into the Cass County Jail after police say he stole an SUV from a car dealership.
Just after midnight on Feb. 27, a Fargo Police officer spotted an SUV with Corwin dealership plates driving in the 2400 block of 13th Avenue South.
The officer says the SUV had a damaged grill and was previously reported stolen.
The driver, Skyler Kidwell, fled when the police officer tried to make a traffic stop.
The officer found the vehicle near 37th Avenue and 42nd Street South. He says Kidwell took off again, hitting the squad car.
Another driver in a parking lot had to quickly pull over to avoid being hit by the SUV Kidwell was driving.
The incident report says Kidwell has a suspended driver’s license.
Kidwell is charged with theft, fleeing a peace officer, criminal mischief, reckless driving and driving under suspension.
