MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Fargo and Moorhead fire crews pulled a man from the Red River near the Main Avenue bridge Monday afternoon.
Fargo Police Lieutenant Matt Siders says the individual was seen walking on the ice before witnesses watched the person fall into the river. The person was recovered from the river shortly after 3:30 p.m., they were taken to a Fargo hospital in critical condition.

The Fargo Fire Department launched an inflatable Zodiac boat while searching for the man, which can move in the water and on top of the river ice. The call to Red River Regional Dispatch came in shortly after 2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.
No other information has been released.
