Bill introduced in Minnesota Senate would fund Charlie Kirk statue on U of M campus

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO) – A group of Republican lawmakers have introduced a bill that would appropriate $25,000 to build a statue of Charlie Kirk on the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus.  

Kirk was assassinated while speaking at a college campus in Utah in September of last year.  

Sens. Nathan Wesenberg, Eric Lucero, Steve Drazkowski, Bill Lieske, Michael Holmstrom say the money would come from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
