Judge Wade Webb, East Central Judicial District Court Judge
FARGO (KFGO) – Judge Wade Webb has filed with the North Dakota Secretary of State’s Office to run for re-election in 2026 for the East Central Judicial District Judgeship.
The East Central District covers Cass, Traill and Steele Counties.
Webb was first appointed to the position in 2003 by then Gov. John Hoeven. He was elected in 2006 and then re-elected in 2008, 2014 and 2020.
Webb’s campaign committee says he is the longest serving North Dakota state judge.
The term for the judgeship is for six years from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2032.
The primary election is in June with the general election on November 3, 2026.
Judge Webb has served in numerous legal and community organizations while serving on the bench, including President of the Cass County Bar Association; President of the Concordia College Alumni Board; Fellow of the University of North Dakota; and Oak Grove Board of Regents.
Judge Webb is also a Distinguished Jurist in Residence of the UND School of Law.
