Francisco Maximiliano Morales Galera, 34 (Richland County Jail)
WAHPETON, N.D. (KFGO) – A Fairmount, North Dakota man was booked into the Richland County Jail after being accused of sexually assaulting a teenaged girl.
Francisco Morales Galera is charged with gross sexual imposition and possession of certain materials prohibited, both which are felonies.
Court records show a 14-year-old girl contacted the Richland County Sheriff’s Office on Feb. 22 to report sexual interactions with the 34-year-old man.
Deputies found Morales Galera at a bar in Fairmount and questioned him. The criminal complaint says Morales Galera admitted to deputies that he had sexual contact with the teen in the fall of 2025.
A search warrant obtained for the suspect’s cell phone uncovered nude photos of the girl.
Morales Galera was charged in Southeast District Court on Feb. 23.
