CAMPBELL, Minn. (KFGO) – A Wheaton man is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a collision between the car he was driving and a train on Minnesota Highway 75, north of Highway 55.
The State Patrol says it happened at about 12:30 p.m. Friday.
Jessie Vetovich, 42, was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Breckenridge. The patrol says Vetovich was not wearing a seatbelt. The road had snow and ice.
Troopers, the DNR, Wilkin County Sheriff’s deputies and the Fairmount, North Dakota and Campbell, Minnesota Fire Departments responded along with Breckenridge-Wahpeton Ambulance.
