THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn. (KFGO/KVRR) — A Thief River Falls, Minnesota woman accused of cutting a child’s throat last summer has pleaded not guilty.
35-year-old Edwina Stoutenburgh is charged with attempted second degree murder without intent and second degree assault.
Court documents revealed she tried to cut the child’s neck last July, but the knife was too dull. The child was treated for non life-threatening injuries.
At the ER Stoutenburgh said demons inside of her took over and she threatened to kill her kids.
A trial has been set for May.
