WEST FARGO (KFGO) – A 26-year-old man is in the Cass County jail after police say he stole a vehicle in West Fargo Monday night.
Officers responded to the 3300 block of Sheyenne Street where the caller reported the vehicle was left running with the keys inside. About 20 minutes later, a FLOCK camera located the vehicle and officers tried making a traffic stop near 7th Avenue E. and 17th Street.
The driver tried to leave, but officers were able to pin the vehicle in a cul-de-sac.
Andrew LaFountaine, who has no permanent address, was arrested for felony theft along with multiple other offenses and probation violations.
