The Plaza in Downtown Moorhead
MOORHEAD (KFGO) – The City of Moorhead is looking for ideas from the public on final touches for a new plaza downtown.
The area will be home to the new city hall and “The Loop,” which contains the public library and community center.
City planners are asking for ideas for the surrounding space, with hopes that it will be a gathering place for community members and visitors.
“Imagine summer concerts under the stars, food trucks and farmers markets, and spaces for kids to play,” a news release from the city said. “Picture winter activities like cozy fire pits, holiday lights, and pop-up events that make downtown a destination even in the cold months.”
