Gretchen Dobervich (D-Fargo)
FARGO (KFGO) – State Representative Gretchen Dobervich announced Wednesday that she will not seek reelection to the North Dakota House when her current term concludes at the end of the year.
Dobervich has represented District 11 since 2016 and will complete ten years in the legislature at the conclusion of her term. Throughout her time in office, she said she has focused her legislative work on health and human services, advocating for policies to strengthen public health, support families, and improve access to essential services for North Dakotans.
“It has been an honor to serve the people of District 11 and to work alongside dedicated colleagues on issues that directly impact the health and well-being of our communities,” Dobervich said. “After thoughtful consideration, I have decided that the end of this term is the right time for me to step away from elected office.”
Dobervich expressed gratitude to her constituents, legislative colleagues, and family for their support over the past decade. She said she looks forward to continuing her commitment to public service and community involvement in new ways.
