Odus Maxwell (Cass Co. Jail)
FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man is in the Cass County jail after a Saturday morning shooting in north Fargo.
Police responded shortly after 11 when a man arrived at a Fargo hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim told police officers that when he was leaving a residence, he heard a “pop” and discovered he had been shot. He did not provide any information about who may have shot him or where the shooting took place.
A witness later told investigators that the shooting happened inside a residence in the 1500 block of 10th Street North. Police say the victim and the shooter were known to each other.
Police were granted a warrant and found the suspect, 50-year-old Odus Maxwell, at the location of the shooting Saturday night. He was arrested for aggravated assault.
