Everyone welcome ‘except I.C.E.’ at downtown Fargo coffee shop

FARGO (KFGO/KVRR) — A downtown Fargo coffee shop says Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers are not welcome at the business.

Atomic Coffee at 222 North Broadway has a sign posted on the door that says “Everyone is welcome here except I.C.E.” The sign goes on to say the store has a right to deny I.C.E. access to private areas without a judicial warrant.

The sign also says they assert their Constitutional rights, which apply to everyone in the country regardless of immigration status, in the establishment.

In a social media post, Atomic Coffee wonders if this is “what it felt like in Nazi Germany.” In another meme on social media, there is a picture of ice cubes with the words “the only ice we serve.”
