DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (KFGO/KZZY) – The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a man who died Wednesday morning after being trapped inside a grain pit full of corn at the CHS elevator just west of Devils Lake.
The Sheriff’s Office says Enrique Perez, 34, of Leeds, North Dakota died at the scene.
The investigation determined Perez was not wearing the proper safety harness when he entered the grain pit.
