North Dakota U.S. Rep. Julie Fedorchak
BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – North Dakota Republican Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak has officially launched her re-election campaign.
Fedorchak was first elected to the seat in 2024. Before that, she spent 12 years on the state’s Public Service Commission.
“As a fourth-generation North Dakotan, I want the very best state and nation for my kids and for families across our state. That means advancing policies to make America safer, stronger, and more affordable—and that’s what I’m working toward every day,” Fedorchak said. “In just one year, we delivered the largest tax cut in history, blocked the Biden administration’s effort to kill North Dakota’s coal, oil and gas industries, and eliminated tax credits that fueled costly green energy mandates. I’m grateful for the strong support from North Dakotans, our congressional and state leadership, and President Donald Trump. Together, we’re just getting started.”
Last August, President Trump gave his endorsement for Fedorchak’s re-election.
So far, Fedorchak’s only challenger is Republican Alex Balasz. Balazs received the endorsement of state republicans for the seat during the 2024 state convention, but that came after Fedorchak withdrew her name from consideration.
