Richard “Dick” Schroeder, of Dilworth, MN, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 25, 2025, after spending Christmas day with his family at the place he loved so much the cabin on Upper Cormorant at the age of 89 years old.

Funeral services with military honors will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Dilworth Lutheran Church with Rev. Elizabeth Hiller officiating. Visitation will start at 10 AM that morning at the church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
