Arthur Campbell, 21, New York Mills
FRAZEE, Minn. (KFGO/KVRR) — Authorities have released the name of one of two suspects being held for a fatal shooting over the weekend in Frazee, Minnesota. Arthur Campbell of New York Mills, 21, remains in Becker County Jail while a 16-year-old is being held in juvenile detention. Both are awaiting formal charges.
The Becker County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim as Bryson May of Frazee, 19.
Deputies were called around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20 for a disturbance at 701 West Ash Avenue. While deputies were responding, there was another report of shots fired and four suspects fleeing the scene in a black SUV. They arrived to find May had been shot. He was taken to Essentia-St. Mary’s Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The SUV was found a short time later by an Otter Tail County deputy north of Perham and four people were detained. A motive for the shooting is not known.
