RAPID CITY, S.D. (KFGO) – Two teenagers from Rapid City, South Dakota have died after a single-vehicle crash on Thursday night.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says it happened around 9:20 p.m. on Dec. 18.
Preliminary crash information indicates a car was going north on North Haines Avenue in Rapid City near the intersection of Peterson Road when it went off the road and rolled.
The driver and a passenger were both ejected from the vehicle and died from their injuries.
The Highway Patrol says the driver was a 16-year-old girl and the passenger was a 15-year-old boy.
The names of the victims have not been released pending notification of family members.
