HORACE, N.D. (KFGO) – A 64-year-old woman is dead after a house fire south of Horace Wednesday night.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says a man arrived home and the house was filled with smoke. Crews from Southern Valley Fire and Rescue and West Fargo Fire responded and contained the fire.
A woman was found dead inside the house. She was 64-year-old Rebecca Bass.
The Highway Patrol and Sanford Ambulance also responded.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office and Southern Valley Fire and Rescue are investigating the cause of the fire.
