OSAGE, Minn. (KFGO/Learfield) – Indigenous rights activist Winona LaDuke says her family farm in Becker County, Minnesota was riddled with bullets in a drive-by shooting last month.
LaDuke says her grandchildren were inside the home near Osage when the gunfire started, forcing them to duck for cover. She said, “They almost killed my grandchildren.”
Investigators recovered about a dozen bullets and casings from kitchen cabinets, walls, and broken windows.
LaDuke says she has received little communication from law enforcement weeks into the investigation.
