FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man was arrested after police say he was sitting naked on a family’s porch and peeking through the windows.
Fargo Police responded to a trespassing report at a home just after 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5. The homeowner said a man, later identified as Spencer Dietrich, was clothed when he arrived, but undressed and was sitting naked on the porch.
The homeowner told officers that Dietrich was peeking through the windows, which was concerning because two children lived in the home.
According to court documents, Dietrich did not enter the house, damage the property or take anything. The homeowner told officers there also didn’t appear to be any sexual motive for Dietrich’s actions.
Responding officers located Dietrich about a block from the home, but say he refused to stop and they were chasing him.
Court records say Dietrich was still naked when he was running from officers, slipped on the wet grass and fell down.
He was arrested and charged in Cass County Court with criminal trespass, indecent exposure, surreptitious intrusion-peeping, disorderly conduct and refusal to halt.
Dietrich told Fargo Police he had been dared by friends to go to that address and undress on the porch.
