Cante Redstone (Cass County Jail)
FARGO (KFGO KVRR) – What started as a somewhat routine domestic disturbance call has resulted in felony charges for a Fargo man for biting a police officer in the leg.
Police received a call late Thursday afternoon, asking them to remove Cante Redstone from an apartment at 704 23rd St. He once live there, but no longer does and was refusing to leave.
Officers attempted to escort Redstone from the apartment, but Redstone resisted and tried to return. Officers then tried to put Redstone in handcuffs, but he continued to resist, so officers took him to the ground. One officer felt sharp pain in his calf and noticed Redstone biting him in the leg.
Redstone has been charged with two felony counts; simple assault of a peace officer and preventing arrest.
