FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (KFGO) – A track official died after he was taken to a hospital after what the Wissota Racing association described as an incident with a race car Wednesday evening night in Fergus Falls.
It happened at around 5:30 during the Wissota 100 at I-94 emr Speedway. Scott Engfer was hit by a race car as he was crossing the track on an ATV. Engfer was also a board member with the Wissota Racing Association.
Racing resumed after Engfer was taken to Lake Region Healthcare by Ringdahl Ambulance.
