State lawmaker resigns to take job with Dept. of Health and Human Services

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – State Representative Emily O’Brien has resigned her legislative position to take job with the State Health and Human Services Department.

O’Brien, A Republican, has represented a portion of Grand Forks since 2017 in District 42.

O’brien will start her new position as deputy commissioner this week. She plans to move to Bismarck.
