FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man is dead after a motorcycle crash in north Fargo Saturday afternoon.
The Highway Patrol says it happened shortly before 2 p.m. at the intersection of 29th Avenue N. and Broadway.
A 59-year-old Fargo woman was stopped at a red light on 29th Avenue. When the light turned green, she entered the intersection. The Highway Patrol says the motorcycle, driven by 31-year-old Alex Frank, was southbound on Broadway and moving at a high rate of speed when it went through the red light and hit the passenger side of the woman’s car.
Frank was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to Sanford Medical Center where he died.
The crash is under investigation.
