FARGO (KFGO) – The Postal Service is investigating a series of mail thefts in several southeastern North Dakota cities.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says the thefts have taken place between about April 1 and the end of July.
Customers have reported the theft of cash and gift cards. Some of the stolen mail has been recovered, but the Postal Inspection Service is working to identify a suspect. The theft of mail has been reported in Lisbon, Enderlin, Sheldon, Kindred, Davenport, Leonard and Horace.
Customers who believe they may have been victims are asked to fill out a form that may assist with the investigation.
