FARGO (KFGO) – The Fargo Liquor Control Committee has approved Target’s application to open a liquor store. Target Wine & Spirits will be in the same building as the Target store on 13th Ave. South.
City Auditor Steve Sprague says the liquor department will be separated from the remainder of the building and will be accessible to customers only through a separate outside entrance.
Sprague says special restrictions prevent Target from transferring the license unless any subsequent owner continues operating the liquor store at the same location.
The Fargo City Commission must still give final approval.
